During contract negotiations, payers have commented to us that we are an easier provider to work with because administratively we are very efficient.
RealMed has enabled us to be able to reduce the number of telephone calls that we make to payers. No longer are we on hold for twenty minutes, thirty minutes, only in those rare examples do we have to do that today. We were even able to redirect some of our telephone lines because we no longer needed them for calls to the payers.
With RealMed, we have always had good relationships with our payers. It is saving them money because our claims are no longer being reviewed by an examiner so for both of us we are saving money and increasing efficiencies.
RealMed really allows you to take on as much business as you can. We just recently took on three new providers last year with no increase in staff.
The front-end users are happy because they're not sitting on the phone with an insurance company for twenty minutes just to find out if the patient has benefits.
RealMed has allowed us to actually be able to budget more efficiently for the billing office. And with that, as we've grown, which we have, we've taken on other types of services. We've been able to actually keep the same staff and actually be able to still produce the same amount of work.
